Antimicrobial Resistance and Biofilm Encoding Genes Amongst the Staphylococcus aureus Bacteria Isolated From Meat and Meat Products

Role of meat and products as reservoirs biofilm formation antimicrobial-resistant Staphylococcus aureus is not clearly observed. The present research was conducted to assess the incidence, antimicrobial resistance distribution icaABCD genes amongst S. bacteria recovered from raw products. One-hundred sixty product samples were collected isolated using microbial culture. Antimicrobial assessed by disk diffusion. PCR used genes. Twenty-six out 160 (16.25%) examined contaminated with aureus. Raw beef (40%) chicken burger (12.50%) had highest contamination rate. Bacteria harbored toward penicillin (69.23%), ampicillin (61.53%), tetracycline (57.69%) gentamicin antimicrobials. IcaD, icaA, icaB ica Cgenes detected in 65.38%, 57.69%, 50%, 42.30% bacteria, respectively. Roles beef, chicken, resistant-and formation-S. have been demonstrated current research.
